New HTC Rezound Not Europe-Bound

HTC recently unveiled its latest mobile, the Rezound, dubbed a 'superphone'.  The new handset is set to rival the Samsung Galaxy Nexus and the Motorola Droid Razr—but not in Europe, unfortunately.

The HTC Rezound will go on sale in the US on November 14, with hardware specs that are enough to make any geek's eyes water.  There are only two sour notes: it won't ship with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich—and it won't be going on sale in Europe either.

The 3G+/4G Rezound will have a 4.3'', 1280 x 720 pixel Super LCD screen, a 1.5 GHz dual-core Qualcomm processor and a 1 GB of RAM.  There's an 8 Megapixel camera (with a 28 mm, f/2 lens), and users will be able to record 1080p video straight onto its 16 GB of internal memory.  A free pair of Beats Audio in-ear headphones are included.

Verizon subscribers will be able to pick up the HTC Rezound for around £300 as early as November 14, but there's as yet no news of plans to launch it in the UK or elsewhere in Europe.  Perhaps we'll get an equivalent model instead ...
