Laptops and netbooks are great for using out and about, but their audio output is rarely up to scratch.
But what if you could put that right for just a few quid? Well, several manufacturers are on hand to help you to do just that, with their USB-powered portable mini speakers.
So after the Altec Lansing Orbit and the Logitech Z-5, now Hercules is set to release its own set of budget mini speakers, the XPS 2.0 35 USB. They come complete with a travel case and feature the classic microphone entry and headphones socket combo.
The great news is that Hercules' recommended retail price for the XPS 2.0 35 USB speakers is just £19.99. They're due to hit the shops at the end of May.
