Time for another new manufacturer!  And not just anybody: this time we're testing equipment from Asian giant Audio Technica, whose audio equipment enjoys a formidable reputation amongst studio professionals.

We're starting our look at their hardware with some headphones from its open-air hi-fi range, the ATH-AD300 and the ATH-AD500.  It's not just that we're glad to see another new manufacturer—something that's always welcome, of course—but the quality is more than acceptable, too.
