Hardware: SanDisk ups G4 SSD to 256 GB

When we looked at whether you should choose a traditional internal hard drive or an SSD for your new computer a couple of weeks ago, one of the things we pointed out was that hard drives currently offer much more storage capacity for a comparable price.But the cost-per-gigabyte of SSD is falling all the time, with manufacturers increasing the capacities of their drives. Our friends at BeHardware have news on a new 256 GB SSD from SanDisk, which is twice as big as its current largest offering.
