Google Postpones Nexus Presentation Event in NYC

With hurricane Sandy currently sweeping its way through New York, Google has postponed its Nexus/Android 4.2 press conference, due to be held today.

Eager fans will have to wait a little longer to see Google present its Nexus 4 (by LG) smartphone, 32 GB/3G Nexus 7 tablet (by Asus),  Nexus 10 tablet (by Samsung) and the Android 4.2 OS. The event, due to be held today in New York, was postponed at the last minute as hurricane Sandy sweeps through the city.

Google is due to reschedule the event for later in the week, depending on how Sandy progresses. In the meantime, Microsoft's launch event for Windows Phone 8, also scheduled for today, will be going ahead as usual in the calmer climes of San Francisco.
