Galaxy Nexus & Android 4 Coming 17 November

As several manufacturers had suggested, Android 4 Ice Cream Sandwich will be in products and on shelves before the end of 2011.

The 17 November release date for Google's latest mobile OS just happens to coincide with Samsung's launch date for the Samsung Galaxy Nexus on O₂, Vodafone and Three UK, or SIM-free for £550.

Note, however, that some rumours on the web consider a 17 November release to be rather optimistic.

Nexus or no Nexus, users of Android 2.3.5 should still be able to upgrade to version 4.0 later this month.
