Alongside the original X10 expert compact, Fuji today presented the FinePix Z950 EXR, which is a minor update of the Z900 EXR.

Fuji's latest Z-series camera has been treated to a few new aesthetic features, such as a new aluminium detail on the curved ridge at the bottom of the slide-down cover.

Otherwise, the 28-140 mm lens, 16-Megapixel BSI CMOS sensor and 3.5-inch multitouch screen have been taken straight from the previous model.

The only other new features are a reworked EXR Auto mode—which now supports 99 shooting patterns—and an 'intelligent' zoom that's basically a digital zoom with zone-by-zone image processing. Not much to write home about here, then.
