Half of them have lost a star in our final rating. They might look worse than before, but that should make comparison with more recent models easier.
We've been particularly harsh with software—both OS and custom extras—that haven't been kept up to date and those without many apps, as well as phones whose display can't keep up with the ever-increasing resolution. Some handsets have also seen their score revised downwards because of a particularly high SAR.
