Our archives include 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18 inch laptops--and that's without looking at the other side of the side of the decimal point! That's why we've added a new filter so you can ignore the size of laptops that you're not interested in. It works for netbooks too. With over eighty different tests split between laptops and netbooks, choosing the right one for you wasn't always that obvious. Hopefully this new filter will make life easier, and we'll be adding more soon.
To start with though, you can filter the products we've tested according to the diagonal screen size. Click on the 'Screen' link, and then check the boxes that correspond with the display sizes you're interested in. To save time, you can either check or uncheck all of them at once using the links at the bottom.
Once you're done, you can click the Permalink button to get a URL for your choice that you can share with your friends. As you go along adjusting the criteria of your search, the results are given on the right-hand side, showing you how many laptops meet your current criteria. In our example, we have 17 15-16'' laptops, but you can go even deeper and sort by brand, by the score we gave, the date of our test or according to your budget.
For this particular filter, we've deliberately reduced the number of number of choices, so the '15 inch' option includes 15.4'' and 15.6'' laptops as well.
In the future, we hope to allow you to search and filter based on just about all of the features and characteristics of our products--it'll just take a while to put in place!
