Long since available on the iPhone, the social networking app for the iPad only appeared on the AppStore last night.
Talking about the app on its blog, Facebook highlights the simplicity and rapidity of navigation, as well as the fact that the app also puts the 1024 x 768 pixel screen to full use. The interface looks a lot more like the PC version than the smartphone version, with notifications visible all the time and browser bars and instant messaging displayed without cutting off the content of the update.
You can also record HD video and stream to Airplay devices.
