External Hard Drive Reviews: LaCie Minimus and Rugged Mini

LaCie is back in our lab with two new external hard drives.  We're looking at both the Rugged Mini, a 2.5'' format drive which is both tough and powerful, and the Minimus 1 TB, a stylish 3.5'' drive.

We tested the two external hard drives using their USB 3.0 interface, which is a better reflection of the performance of the hardware inside an external hard drive than USB 2.0 devices.
