Keen to occupy every single niche in the digital SLR market, Sony has just released the Alpha 450, an advanced option amongst its entry-level cameras, which slots in the space between its upper entry-level Alpha 380 and mid-range Alpha 500. It's more or less an Alpha 550 with simplified focusing. The secondary sensor is gone, and so is the rotating screen, which is why it manages to come in cheaper than its big brother.
