Panasonic has reaffirmed its position as top dog in the waterproof camera market with the Lumix FT4, but the firm is also proffering a lower-spec and lower-cost alternative in the shape of the Panasonic FT20.


This camera's tech specs aren't particularly exciting, with a 16-Megapixel CCD, 720p video and a 25-100 mm (f/3.9-5.7) periscopic zoom lens. It's waterproof to 5 metres and shockproof from heights of 1.5 metres. So how does Panasonic's budget underwater compact compare with models from Olympus and Fuji, for example? Time to find out!
