With a new fast backlit CMOS sensor with 10 pixels, a powerful 26-678 mm zoom lens with a 1 cm macro mode and a 3'' rotating screen, the Nikon Coolpix P100 has certainly got an attractive tech spec.

But then again, any developments at all are welcome in the segment for bridge cameras, with only Fujifilm and Nikon still around: other manufacturers have given up and started producing simpler cameras without viewfinders.
