Although once reserved for high-end cameras, touchscreens are now cropping up in pocket snappers costing under £150, such as the Samsung ST95 and Kodak Easyshare Touch M577. Let's just hope the manufacturers haven't cut corners elsewhere!

There's more to the Kodak Easyshare Touch M577 than just a very long name, as this camera boasts a stylish design, a relatively high-def screen and a good-quality build. However, its 14-Megapixel sensor and 28-140 mm zoom lens pave the way for a bog-standard spec sheet.

The Samsung ST95 is a little more plain, not quite as well finished, and can't match the Kodak's screen definition. It does, however, pack in more pixels (16 million, to be precise) and a zoom lens with a wider wide-angle (26 to 130 mm).
