Conclusion
This reasonably quick and nimble smartphone has one big advantage: it's waterproof and dustproof. Whether on the beach, on a mountain, in the woods, at the bottom of your pocket or in the depths of a rucksack, the Sony Xperia Go is a good choice for outdoorsmen and -women who aren't interested in buying a bigger, more powerful, more expensive device.
The Motorola Defy Mini is a good little smartphone that's robust and has a decent battery life. It's a good choice for clumsier users, as well as outdoor types or anyone who works outdoors. It's also a sound choice for users who aren't bothered about having a power-packed smartphone with all the latest cutting-edge multimedia functions.
The fifth generation of the iPhone is an effective high-end smartphone. More powerful than the 4S (as one should expect) though not a game changer either, the iPhone 5's primary selling points are a lighter body, quicker execution and excellent multimedia capacities. Its weaknesses? A GPS function in need of revision and average battery life that isn't quite enough for intensive use.
The Galaxy Y could find vocation as an emergency replacement for when your mode advanced smartphone breaks or gets lost or stolen. Who knows, with a better screen we might have been able to recommend it.
The Samsung Galaxy S3 delivers a first-rate user experience. With its top-notch hardware, this handset never flinches or falters. On top of that, Samsung has loaded the S3 with plenty of innovative new software features—most of which are pretty good—as well as an excellent camera and a powerful battery. The Galaxy S3 is clearly an iconic new Android phone, but for such an exciting handset, it's a shame to see such a conventional design.
