The Ixus 110 IS looks like it brings together all the things Canon does best: wide angle at 28 mm, 12 megapixel sensor, 7.1 cm screen in 16/9 format adapted to film in 720p high definition. All this in a well designed compact camera. Successor to the best-selling Ixus 870 IS, does it meaure up?The new range of Canon compacts is to say the least very seductive, with the Ixus 110 IS leading the way, with, and this is a first for Canon, HD video at 1280x720 pixels.
It has an unusual back: a wide format 16/9 screen three buttons and a scroll for settings, along with a new interface.
