Dell has added two new monitors to its UltraSharp range, the U2211H and U2311H, with a display size of 22'' and 23'' respectively.
Both monitors have similar specs, with each one coming with an 8 ms IPS panel with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. In theory, that will them just a little less responsive than the current U2410. They'll come with VGA, DVI and Display Port inputs, along with a four-port USB hub.
Height-adjustable stands are standard in the UltraSharp range, as are rotating bases and panels that you can tilt back. With specs like that, then Dell could well have produced two five-star monitors, as long as they've managed to make sure they can produce decent colours.
For the time being, the two displays are only available in the US, for $279 and $299 respectively.
We'd absolutely love to test the new range of monitors, but were sorely disappointed this morning. Dell had promised us a U2711 to test, and when it arrived, it had had a very rough journey ...
That means we'll have to put the test back until we receive another one—sorry ...
