Death clearly seems to be something of a running theme in Dark Souls. The game's predecessor, Demon's Souls, had already got the message across loud and clear with a game that was so hard that the slightest slip-up saw your character instantly annihilated. So with Dark Souls hitting stores today, get ready for more of the same from the game's developers Namco Bandai and From Software. Ouch!
Dark Souls is up for release on 7 October for XBOX 360 and PS3.
