Crucial RealSSD C300 Now Available in 64 GB

Crucial's new RealSSD C300 64 GB is an entry-level SSD that's available for under £150.

It has the same spec as Crucial's other models (128 GB and 256 GB), including the all-too-rare 6 Gbps SATA-3 interface, a Marvell controller and 128 MB of cache memory. Read speeds are advertised at 335 MBps and write speeds at 75 MBps, however, given that these are figures quoted by the manufacturer, you can expect them to be a little lower in practice. All in all, the C300 64 GB SSD has a decent set of spec that should stand it in good stead compared with other entry-level models on the market.

The Crucial RealSSD C3000 64 GB is out now, and is available for £120-150.
