The Intel Core i3 2120 processor is a slightly faster version of the Core i3 2100. The two cores run at 3.3 GHz instead of 3.1 GHz, and although there's no Turbo mode, Hyper-threading allows the CPU to present two extra logical cores to the OS.
The extra 200 MHz has improved performance by around 3%, allowing the Core i3 2120 to perform almost exactly like the AMD Phenom II 4 965 when running applications, but the Intel processor retains a serious lead when it comes to video gaming.
