There are just two weeks left to wait until Sid Meier's Civilization V, one of this year's most eagerly awaited video games, is finally released!
We would have loved to have been able to tell you whether the removal of religions (introduced in Civilization IV but ditched in this version), the hexagonal grid map, the new rule of only one unit per tile and the new AI features revolutionise gameplay and make Civilization V stand out for the previous four instalments.
Unfortunately though, the 'preview' version was only available to the specialist video games press. So it seems that we, like you, will have to wait until the game's UK release on 24 September to see just what these new changes will bring to the classic game. Until then, you'll have to make do with the preview reviews on sites such as GamesRadar, AtomicGamer etc.
Two weeks and counting ...
