Sennheiser used 2009 to carry out a real clear-out of its headphones catalogue. The time has come to renew the range! For the occasion, a partnership has been struck up with another German brand, Adidas
Sennheiser weren't denying it, their range was a little hard to follow last year. What with multiple ranges of in-ear headphones, the MX series of earbuds and the triple-range of Style concept headphones, there was plenty of room for confusion.
After simplifying their ranges, here comes the announcement of new products. Picking up on the designs used for the Style Sport headphones, Sennheiser has developed the 680 series. Designed in partnership with Adidas, they are particularly aimed at sportsmen and women. Each set comes with a case, a reinforced wire and is waterproof. This is so as to protect them from sweat and allow you to rince them with water.
Four models have been announced: The MX 680s come with a system to secure the earbuds in the ear; the CX 680s use the same system but are in-earphones; next are the OMX680s which are over-the-ear-buds; and the PMX 680s are over-the-ear bud headsets.
These new sports headphones should be available as of this month at Sennheiser stockists and in official Adidas shops.
