Every year we see more and more car manufacturers at the tech shows. Vehicles are full of electronics and the phenomenon is only going to continue.
Information on the Audi windscreen is starting to come out. The company was showing a new version of its system at CES 2012, with three virtual screens: one in front of the steering wheel and visible only to the driver, one in the middle shared by everyone in the vehicle and the last on the passenger side.

Information on the Audi windscreen is starting to come out. The company was showing a new version of its system at CES 2012, with three virtual screens: one in front of the steering wheel and visible only to the driver, one in the middle shared by everyone in the vehicle and the last on the passenger side.
This information and the graphs are processed by the same Nvidia Tegra 3 processor to be found in the latest smartphones and tablets. Dan Vivoli, senior vice president at Nvidia, said, "Audi and Nvidia are radically narrowing the gap that has existed between consumer electronics and automotive electronics. By leveraging technology from the very latest smartphones and tablets, Audi is leading the market with innovations that enhance safety and make driving more enjoyable."
