DigitalVersus Face-Off
The camera face-off has always been a key part of the review process here at DigitalVersus. The face-off is designed to help readers form their own opinions about a camera's quality from a series of photos taken in standard conditions in our test lab.

Where would you find a still-life scene, a beautiful Barbie, an electric train set, a graphics card and a ruler? Why, in the DigitalVersus camera test lab of course! We've put over 600 cameras to the test with this third version of our face-off ('2010' version), using close-up details, different lighting conditions and more gruelling challenges to complement our reviews.

The aim is to create a level playing field on which to test cameras, so that readers can judge a camera's performances for themselves. However, we've found that the results can sometimes be misinterpreted, which is why we've put together a handy guide to using the camera face-off. Enjoy!
