The Sony Cyber-shot TX7 is a top-of-the-range compact camera. It's packed with all of Sony's finest technology and has a stylish design to match. However, it won't be around for long, as Sony has already announced its upcoming replacement.

Although the TX7 is billed as the replacement for the TX1, it's set to have something of a brief existence. In fact, barely six months after initially hitting the market, this camera's departure has already been announced, with the new TX9 bringing a panoramic 3D mode in the autumn.
