Last year, Samsung's TV came to the end of its days in our lab: no matter what they tried, our technicians couldn't get rid of the burn-in that was so severe there was no chance of recovery. It's still languishing somewhere downstairs, unused and unloved …
Six months have passed, and we're going to try it again, this time with a Panasonic V10. And watch out: we're using a 50'' model, the Panasonic Viera TX-P50V10, a great television that will set you back a good £1400 if you wanted to repeat our experiment.
So, is it true that Panasonic's plasmas are immune to burn-in? We hope to bring you the answer soon …
