Burning a plasma: two weeks later

Back from your holidays? Maybe you missed out on our series on plasma burning? Well, now's your chance to catch up. Today we’re publishing our fourth article on the subject…Recap on the rules of the game: following a debate on the forums, we decided to check whether plasma burning was still a problem or simply a myth we (among others) were perpetuating. So we chose our guinea pig, a Samsung plasma TV, and we submitted it to a programme of torture: first display of a fixed image for an hour, then 8 hours with variable settings.
The worst happened, the marks remained. We prescribed some rest and then two weeks after our last one hour test, almost four weeks after our 8 hour test, we had another look at the screen. Had the traces disappeared? To find out:
