Burning a plasma: after 8 hours…

The big game of the year ''A plasma subjected to burning'' must change its rules: the Samsung plasma victim is not recovering easily from the effects of a full night of exposure.

The first stage which consisted in subjecting the screen to a fixed image for an hour was won by the plasma, the results were good: in spite of our outlandish settings (contrast and brightness to a max), the slight marking remained visible for half an hour only.

Next we moved onto stage 2 of the test as described in our initial game rules, representative this time of “high risk” behaviour:

Exposure of a plasma to a fixed image for one night, then display of uniform grey to detect any burnt zones.

Here's the report and conclusions on the consequences of our actions:

A plasma screen: subjection to burning: exposure for a night then grey display
