Become An Air Guitar Hero On iOS

Who has never mimicked their guitar hero with a bit of air guitar action in front of the bathroom mirror? Two developers have been working to bring the concept to iOS.

Colin Kapfinger and Ronald Mannak are calling their app, still in prototype, Air Guitar Move. All you need to get going is an iPhone or iPod Touch... and the desire to get your air action on.

The application uses an accessory to detect the movement of your fingers, a false plectrum linked to the iPhone and containing an accelerometer. Kapfinger and Mannak were trying to raise $25,000 to begin production of their plectrum by July 10, but they've exceeded their expectations and already have a total of just under $30,000, all promised through individual donations on their site.
