We haven’t yet received our test model, but point you instead towards the review on The guru of 3D. Without going into the details of the review, you do have to say that some strange choices seem to have been made on this Radeon HD 5830. Closer to the Radeon HD 5770 than the 5850 in terms of performance in gaming, yet it’s priced much closer to the 5850.
It’s this placing that’s confusing us. The card would not seem to be giving enough for this pricing, or rather be too expensive for the performance yields it gives. While waiting for our test to appear we recommend you check out the article published on The guru of 3D.
