Asus G53SX-S1158V: A Powerful 15.6'' For Gamers

For those who don't have the patience to reread the full test, the G53SX is a sober looking, black matte 15.6-inch laptop - rare on a gamer machine. Well finished, it has an Intel Core i7-2630QM processor - rapid processing times - and a powerful GTX 560M graphics card that can handle all titles at 1920 x 1080 pixels.

While it lacked a Blu-ray player and a Full HD panel (to keep the price down), it now includes these two components along with a slightly more powerful processor (Core i7-2670QM) and a small increase in storage capacity (up from 750 GB to 1 TB).

Of course, it does now come in at quite a bit more (around £1100 up from £900) but this is certainly not over the top when compared to similar competitor configurations.
