Asus Eee PC 1008P by Karim Rashid now with matching accessories

Asus special edition Karim Rashid netbooks have been around since earlier this year and will soon be avaiable with two brand new matching accessories. The Asus Eee PC 1008P KR will be available with a matching case and mouse in KR’s ‘Hot Pink’ or ‘Chocolate Brown’.

Back in the day of the original Asus Eee PCs, a netbook was just a netbook. Now, it seems, netbooks are becoming the latest must-have fashion accessories, designed to show off in style. Asus was quick off the mark in signing up hipster designer Karim Rashid earlier this year to rework the brand’s Eee PC 1008P (successor to the 1008HA).

But which self-respecting style guru would want to go spoiling their designer netbook with common-or-garden accessories? Well, fashonistas need fret no longer as the Karim Rashid netbook will now be available with a specially designed matching mouse and case.

The accessories were released onto Asian markets a few weeks ago, and will be available here with Karim’s netbooks soon.
