The idea behind this is article is to archive TVs in the 30''-39'' category from previous generations. Every time a manufacturer produces a new range of TVs, we gradually move its predecessors into our achives: this one includes TVs from late 2008 and early 2009, but there's also a separate archive of older models. This means you can find our test results for models that are still available second-hand or on sale in shops selling end-of-line stock. 

Note that our reviews and scores date from the date of the original test, and aren't kept up to date. This means that you can't compare them directly with more recent models.
