With a PC
Even if the display when using a PC is well framed, we noted some degradation of text fonts. None of the different display modes enable resolving this problem. We therefore cannot really recommend this TV for use with your computer.

This television is the 37” version of the 32” which we tested, the Viera TX-32LXD85F. The two are identical and so you can consult the latter’s test to have a better idea of its performances. Only the larger diagonal size means a bigger risk of rescaling defects with standard definition (SD) sources.
Characteristics, the panel and circuitry are identical and only brightness may vary slightly which minimally affects contrast. According to manufacturers (and our tests confirm), results from one diagonal size can easily be extrapolated to identical models of bigger or smaller sizes.

With satisfactory performances for the entry level, the LXD85F is actually too expensive at the moment.
