On the Nikon D60
Even though this card has broken our speed record for the micro SDHC standard, it still can't keep up the three photos a second that our Nikon D60 takes in burst mode.
When shooting a burst of thirty shots, the memory card began to slow the camera down from the ninth frame onwards and didn't pick up again.
When shooting a burst of thirty shots, the memory card began to slow the camera down from the ninth frame onwards and didn't pick up again.
We were pleasantly surprised, however, to discover that it's capable of a lot more than that, reaching the bar set by our current reference, the SanDisk Extreme III on several tests.
At 8 GB, this card seems to be aimed at expanding the memory of a mobile phone--to give more room for MP3s for instance--but will it actually be good enough for high-end digital cameras too?
And given how much data it holds, is it likely to leave you waiting around if you want to fill it up§
Fasted micro SDHC card yet
In terms of speed, this is the fastest micro SDHC card we've ever tested.
When writing data, it reaches the dizzying heights of 8.4 MB/s, around 3 MB/s above the average pace set by its competitors.
It's not quite as fast as the SanDisk Extreme III's 12.9 MB/s, a regular SD card, but it certainly provides room to hope that these microSDs will one day tear along as quickly as their bigger brothers.
At 17.7 MB/s for reading data, though, it does equal the SanDisk card, which also ran into the barriers of our card reading equipment which couldn't get the data out any faster.

Speed Test Results (MB/s)
-
Beats the competition when it comes to speed
-
High capacity
-
SD adaper included
-
Suitable for fairly demanding applications
-
Modest write speeds
-
Not suitable for a digital SLR

This is one of the fastest micro SDHC cards out there, and should be suitable for a wide variety of uses thanks to its combination of fast data transfer rates and a high capacity. You can use it in a multimedia phone or a digital camera at low to medium resolutions without any problems, but it's still too slow for something more advanced.
