On paper, this is Kingston’s slowest SDHC card with a theoretical minimum speed of 2 MB/s. After results of the A-Data, we weren’t expecting to find anything too surprising. However…
SDHC Class 2 or Class 6 ?
In practice, we obtained results that were very out of the ordinary. In writing, it is 35% faster than the Class 4 and barely 4% slower than a Class 6. In reading, it is slightly inferior to its bigger siblings, however, with a satisfactory performance. Finally, once again there is nothing changes in burst mode and the D40x changes its pace after the 11th shot.

Performances in writing of a Class 6

Doesn’t hold your reflex back
-
Reading performances are bit behind, it’s a Class 2

It’s a rather unique card. In writing, it’s a Class 6 and in reading a Class 2. It won’t hold your reflex back and therefore is a good low priced solution.
