A-Data Super SDHC 4 Go Class 2
Here we have a Class 2 type card that is economically priced. This could seem attractive for those looking for a large storage capacity at alow price. However, be careful as Class 2 is synonomous with a minimum writing speed of 2 MB/s and this can penalize a camera in burst mode.
Poor in writing, average in reading and respectable in a reflex We can immediately say that in writing this card doesn’t fare too well. With 3.73 MB/s with the 256 MB files it was the slowest of our survey. In reading, it is also the slowest, but this is still a speed of 14.91 MB/s or 17% less than the current best cards. Finally, in burst mode slowing down occurs upon the tenth photo, or almost 1 less than the average. In practice, this means an average speed of 1.07 ips for a series of 30 shots, while the average for other cards is around 1.55 ips. ![]() | ||||||||||
