Good autonomy and a recharging station
This mouse comes with a recharging station. When fully recharged, it has an autonomy of about two weeks. Just to be sure, as soon as the mouse is in movement there is light indicator that tells you the battery level. You almost have to go out of your way to find yourself with an uncharged MX Revolution.
The MX Revolution has two major arguments going for it:  an unparallel optimization for right-handers and an intelligent scroll wheel capable of a click-to-click or freely rolling mode (hyper-fast scrolling) to quickly go through long documents. After eight months of tests we can say that we are believers even if this mouse doesn’t try to rival gamer models.  Here, comfort is more important than brute performance which is secondary for a product more destined for the office.

A large budget for more comfort in documents

High performance fans can pass on this mouse.  The MX is a simple 800 dpi / 125 Hz version but nevertheless it does have a laser sensor.  We shouldn’t expect the reactivity of hardcore gamer models nor the change in one click to a slower cursor speed for more precision.
The material on its foot pads isn’t the best either and we noticed that it rubs more than even an aging G5.  The MX is first and foremost an office mouse with great ergonomics to best accommodate right-handers.  Once you get over its very original design your hand falls comfortably into place without mistakenly clicking the thumb button.

On the other hand, we didn’t keep the default settings for the buttons and the driver was particularly helpful in arranging this for us.

-

Good ergonomics for right-handers

-

Rich and easily accessible driver

-

Laser sensor, recharging station, wireless

-

Scroll wheel is click-to-click or smooth scrolling

-

Price

-

Not well suited for left-handers

-

Second scroll wheel not very practical for everyone

This is one of our personal favorites for its great comfort in intensive office use. Another good point is that in 8 months of tests, it was never subject to interference problems like other wireless mice we encountered.
