This is the 2 Gigabyte version in Cowon’s D2 line. The qualities and defects are the same with all models and you can see our full test of the D2 8 GB keeping the below table in mind.
The D2 has an SDHC compatible SD/MMC slot. Given that its use is pretty much self explanatory, we thought it might be interesting to give you the following table. It represents the different costs of the D2 depending upon its storage capacity with and without memory extension.
The prices for memory cards and players were the average market prices from March 6th, 2008 :

- Cowon D2 4 GB --> 215 €
- Cowon D2 2 GB --> 189 €
- 16 GB --> 140 €
- 8 GB --> 55 €

The video component is the strong point of the Cowon D2. The audio part on the other hand is a real pleasure. It offers very good autonomy and a balanced clear sound that has depth. Finally, one dampener on your enthusiasm could be the fact that you might want to replace the standard earphones.
