Adobe Photoshop CS6 Beta: Free Download Out Today

Photoshop CS6 Beta was released as a free download earlier today. As with each new version of this digital image editing suite, a huge load of new features and updates have been announced.

 

Like with each Photoshop update, CS6 Beta has been eagerly awaited by creative and design industry professionals. CS6 brings a host of new features, particularly for editing and retouching photos, with tools for correcting optical deformations, new Iris and Tilt-Shift blurring functions and a more effective system for automatically adjusting colour levels. This latest instalment of Photoshop comes with a new version of Camera Raw 7, which shares the same main improvements as Lightroom 4.



Photoshop's general responsiveness has been boosted thanks to the Mercury Graphics Engine, and Adobe has redesigned the interface (which can now be colour customised) while also adding a selection of new tools.
