AC Ryan Updates Its 1st Generation Media Centres: +2 Stars

For media centres, good after sales is a bet on product lifespan. AC Ryan proves this today with a firmware update across its 1st generation range of centres.

The update concerns the Playon!HD, Playon!HD mini and Playon!DVR HD. The major innovation comes with the change in interface to bring these media centres in line with the interface used on the Playon!HD2, Playon!HD mini2 and Playon!HD Essential.

We really like this interface, though it isn't as fast as the old one, and very much approve of the change. Note also the arrival of the Internet applications already included on the more recent models, though they aren't adapted to use on a TV (especially Facebook).

We've tested the changes and updated the products involved. Congratulations to AC Ryan !
