Marks and Spencer is currently selling off old-gen Sony TDG-BR100B 3D glasses for Full HD 3D Bravia TVs at £35 a pair. What better time to kit out the family?

The Sony TDG-BR100B active-shutter 3D glasses aren't rechargeable. They use a CR2032 battery (one of those little round ones) that you'll need to replace once it runs out—an LED indicator on the glasses will let you know when it's getting low. Rechargeable glasses will set you back £50-£60, so for occasional 3D viewing, these £35 pairs could be worthwhile—especially if you opt for free in-store collection.

The TDG-BR100B glasses are compatible with some previous-generation Sony 3D TVs, principally LX, EX, NX, and HX series models such as the Sony Bravia KDL-55EX723 or the Sony Bravia KDL-46HX723. Note that 3D Ready models (which don't have integrated 3D) will require the TMR-BR100 3D Sync Transmitter too.

Check the full list of compatible TVs on Sony's website before you buy to avoid disappointment.

Note that the Marks and Spencer price listed above is the former full retail price—click through to the store to see the reduced £35 sale price.
