SteelSeries Ikari Optical Mouse

We were impressed with the laser version of this Ikari. According to some, the optical version is identical in shape while being less expensive and even better in terms of performance. After our evaluation, we didn't find this entirely true.

• It's been a busy month here at Digitalversus for TV tests.  First of all there was the Panasonic Viera TX-37LZD85F with its good rescaling and low afterglow (it's review also applies to the 47 inch version, the TX-32LZD85F).
• Next there was the Philips 42PFL9603H and 47PFL9603H which have nice colors and sound as well as an HD compatible tuner.  Also, read about how well they function with PCs.
• The Samsung LE32A558, LE40A558, LE46A558, and LE52A558 all have fine qualities though there is one component lacking which may be missed later in the year...
• In the smaller size category we have the Sharp Aquos LC-32D44E and LC-26D44E, two lower priced options.
• And finally, the Sony Bravia KDL-32E4000, KDL-40E4000, KDL-32E4020, and KDL-40E4020 have this brand's usual fine qualities with one big innovation in terms of design.

• The Fujifilm S8100fd will be best suited to the photographer that is mainly looking for versatility. However, if we were to ignore its burst mode, we would opt for the Panasonic DMC-FZ18 which offers more natural colors and more slightly more efficient optical stabilization...
• Another new bridge added to our on-going review is the Olympus SP-570 UZ. Olympus breaks another record; that of the longest optical zoom available on a bridge camera...
• And Sony's latest achievement? Big brother of the Cyber-shot DSC-H7, the H9 has the exact same characteristics: a 15x zoom, 8 million pixels and a sensor that is still as small (1/2.5"). So what differentiates it from the H7?
